Divorce does not automatically revoke a
Will but takes out any reference to the former spouse.
Accordingly it is very important that on divorce any existing Will is reviewed and changed to take into account the new circumstances. All Divorce Orders dealing with financial matters state clearly that the former spouse cannot inherit after financial matters have been dealt with.
